TMJ treatment made my condition worse. There was no proper diagnosis, no clear treatment plan, and no real understanding of whether neuromuscular dentistry was even appropriate for my case. It’s simply not the right approach for every patient.
Unfortunately, some doctors seem more invested in defending their ego and maintaining their image than acknowledging when they’ve gotten something wrong. Social media can create an impressive appearance, but when it comes to the actual clinical work, the reality can be deeply disappointing—and, frankly, embarrassing.

I came to Dr. Noor because of the videos and content I saw on social media. The way the treatment was presented gave me confidence, and at the beginning I was treated well, so I trusted her and decided to proceed with treatment for my TMJ problem.
Unfortunately, my experience changed completely after starting treatment. I spent months following the treatment plan, paid a significant amount of money, and did not see the improvement that had been discussed with me. The clicking and pain I originally sought treatment for remained, and I personally did not see a meaningful improvement in my condition.
The financial side was also a major concern for me. I was initially asked to pay the full amount upfront which was a big amount to pay. I insisted on paying in two installments, which I did. After paying a substantial amount and investing months of my time in treatment, I was extremely disappointed to find myself without the results I had expected.
When I raised my concerns and asked why there had been no improvement, I did not feel that my concerns were properly addressed. Instead, I felt that the responsibility was being shifted toward me and that I was given explanations that I did not find satisfactory.
I am sharing this review because I relied heavily on the social media content when making my decision. Looking back, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering TMJ treatment do their own research, verify the doctor’s qualifications and experience specifically in TMJ, seek a second or even third professional opinion, and get the treatment plan, expected results, costs, and payment terms clearly explained
For me, this was not simply about the money. It was about spending months undergoing treatment while continuing to experience the same problems I originally came to have treated.
This is my personal experience and my honest opinion based on what I experienced during my treatment. I am sharing it so that others can make a more informed decision and carefully investigate everything before placing their trust, time, and money into treatment
